Customize Your School's Branding

TL;DR: Upload your logo, set your brand colors, and configure your custom subdomain so EduSuite OS looks and feels like your school's own platform.

  1. Go to Settings → General → Branding.
  2. Click the Logo area and upload your school logo.
  3. Requirements:
    • Format: PNG or SVG (transparent background recommended)
    • Size: At least 200×200px, max 2MB
    • Square logos work best (they resize gracefully)
  4. Your logo appears on the login page, dashboard header, reports, and parent portal.

Step 2: Set Brand Colors

  1. Under Branding → Colors, choose:
    • Primary Color — Used for buttons, headers, and accents (e.g., your school's main color)
    • Secondary Color — Used for highlights and secondary actions
  2. Use the color picker or enter a hex code (e.g., #1E40AF).
  3. Preview the changes in real-time before saving.

Step 3: Custom Subdomain

Your school gets a unique URL:

https://yourschool.edusuiteos.in
  1. Go to Settings → General → Domain.
  2. Enter your preferred subdomain (e.g., stmarys, delhipublic).
  3. Click Check Availability.
  4. If available, click Claim Subdomain.

Custom Domain (Enterprise)

Enterprise plan users can connect their own domain:

Contact support to set up custom domain mapping.

Step 4: Customize Reports & Documents

Your branding automatically applies to:

  • ✅ Fee receipts and invoices
  • ✅ Report cards and certificates
  • ✅ ID cards
  • ✅ Letters and circulars
  • ✅ Email headers

To further customize:

  1. Go to Settings → Templates.
  2. Edit any document template.
  3. Your logo and colors are pre-filled; adjust layout as needed.

Step 5: PWA Branding

When parents install EduSuite OS as a Progressive Web App:

  1. The app icon uses your school logo.
  2. The splash screen shows your school name.
  3. The app name in their app drawer shows your school name.

Troubleshooting

Q: My logo looks blurry. A: Upload a higher resolution image (at least 400×400px). SVG format gives the sharpest results at any size.

Q: Colors don't match my school's exact shade. A: Use the hex code input instead of the color picker for precise color matching. Ask your designer for the exact hex values.

Q: My subdomain is taken. A: Try variations like stmarys-delhi or stmarysschool. Contact support if you believe the name should be available.
