TL;DR: Create or upload circulars (PDF/image), distribute to targeted groups, and track who has read them — all without printing a single page.
Creating a Circular
Option 1: Write in EduSuite OS
- Go to Communication → Circulars → + New.
- Enter title and body (rich text editor).
- Add formatting: headings, bold, bullet points, tables.
- Attach files if needed.
Option 2: Upload a Ready Circular
- Click + New Circular → Upload.
- Upload your PDF or image file.
- Add a title and description.
- The uploaded file becomes the circular.
Distribution
- Select audience:
- All parents
- Specific classes
- Staff only
- Custom group
- Choose channels:
- In-App — Appears in portal (free)
- Email — Attached PDF sent to email (free)
- SMS — Link to view circular (paid)
- Click Distribute.
Tracking
After distribution:
- View read/unread counts per recipient.
- See which parents acknowledged the circular.
- Send reminders to unread parents.
Circular Archive
All past circulars are stored and searchable:
- Go to Communication → Circulars → Archive.
- Search by title, date, or audience.
- Re-distribute old circulars if needed.
Acknowledgement Feature
Require parents to acknowledge important circulars:
- When creating, toggle "Require Acknowledgement".
- Parents must click "I've Read This" to acknowledge.
- Track acknowledgement rates in the circular detail view.
- Follow up with parents who haven't acknowledged.
Troubleshooting
Q: PDF circular looks blurry. A: Upload a higher resolution PDF. EduSuite OS compresses images for mobile — upload at 150+ DPI for best results.
Q: Can parents download the circular? A: Yes. A download button appears alongside the circular in the parent portal.
